Conor Daly featured on The SkinnyINDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 29, 2020) – Fatheadz Eyewear has been named an official sponsor for Conor Daly of Ed Carpenter Racing for the remainder of the 2020 NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The first event of this partnership will be the GMR Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Fatheadz branding will appear on Daly’s U.S. Air Force Chevrolet for 10 NTT INDYCAR SERIES 2020 events, including the 104th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Daly, a Noblesville, Indiana native, climbed into a kart for the first time at the age of 10. Within five years, he was competing in both United States and international open-wheel ladder systems. He found success in each series. By 2015, he decided to concentrate solely on American motorsports. Full-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES seasons followed in 2016 and 2017. Daly supplemented his 2018 and 2019 Indianapolis 500 appearances by becoming one of the most trusted reserve drivers in the paddock.

“We are excited to extend and grow our relationship with Conor this year while he’s competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with Ed Carpenter Racing,” said Rico Elmore, Founder and CEO of Fatheadz, Inc. “Conor has been a great ambassador of our brand for the past few years, and we are excited to be associated again with Conor, his partnership with the U.S. Air Force, and now with Ed Carpenter Racing.”

Daly shared enthusiasm and support for the partnership:

“It feels great to officially welcome back Fatheadz to my racing program. They were on my car for the 2018 Indy 500 when my U.S. Air Force relationship began and will again be on my car in 2020 for all races with ECR,” Daly said. “Rico Elmore has become a great friend of mine and I have always appreciated his passion for the sport. I look forward to being an ambassador for the Fatheadz brand and celebrating success together during this racing season.”
