What does a frame's "Size" mean & how do I know what size frame I need?

Can I use my hat size to determine what size frames I need?

Many people think a hat size will help determine which size frame you need. Unfortunately, a hat size does not help in determining the width of your face/head.

What are your hours?

Our office is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST.

How do I get sponsored?

Thank you for your interest, but at this time we are not accepting sponsorship applications. 

Do you offer clip-ons?

Fatheadz does not make or sell clip-ons at this time. There are websites that make clip-ons for all shapes and sizes of frames. We suggest searching the internet for one of those companies.

Besides online, where can I buy Fatheadz?

You can use our retailer locator.

Can I cancel my order?

You will be charged when placing your order, but as long as you cancel before your order has shipped, you can receive a full refund.

Can I put prescription lenses into Fatheadz sunglasses?

This question does not have a universal answer. One person may be able to get prescription lenses in a frame while another may not. The determination of whether a frame can be fit with prescription lenses depends on 3 things.

  1. The particular frame you have chosen. Some frames are more RX-friendly than others.
  2. Your prescription.
  3. Your PD. PD is short for Pupillary Distance. That is the distance between your pupils. 

This can be determined by your lab/optician. If you were to order frames and discover that your prescription is not compatible, you can return them for a refund.  

Do you ship outside of the US?

Yes! Fatheadz ships worldwide.

Can I have my order shipped to a PO Box?

Yes, as long as a USPS shipping method is selected.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed Monday–Friday before 3:30 pm will usually ship that same day, orders placed after that time or on the weekend/holidays will be shipped the next business day. Some lens options may delay the processing of your order. 

Do you accept insurance? 

Currently, we do not accept insurance or FSA/HSA. However, we can provide proof of purchase that you can use for reimbursement. 

Do the frames carry a warranty?

Frames are warranted to be free of manufacturer's defects, which includes material and workmanship, for one year (or two years, depending on Collection) from the date of purchase. Scratching is a normal result of use, and is not covered by the warranty.

What is your return policy?

Your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a 30 day customer satisfaction guarantee. To return your item(s) please contact Customer Service for an RMA # and instructions.

You may exchange for another frame or return for a refund. Any price adjustments will be made when we receive the returned frame. For refunds, you will receive a refund back to your original form of payment (minus shipping charges.)

My order didn’t work out, I’d like to exchange or receive a refund. How do I obtain an RMA?

Please contact Customer Service for an RMA number and instructions. Please don't send items back without an RMA.

Does my warranty cover scratched lenses?

Scratches are not considered a manufacturer defect. Replacement lenses (individual lenses cannot be purchased, they are only sold in sets) can be purchased. Use the Contact Us page for details and availability.

My glasses broke, can I get them repaired?

Please contact Customer Service. We don't offer repair services but we may be able to help.

Can I order replacement parts or nose pads for my frames?
